Prophetic Word on Yom Kippur 5766 (October 13, 2005)

Victoria Radin

This Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement), while praying with a group of committed believers who pray regularly for our city, our country and for Israel, the L-rd spoke to me through the book of Esther some very explicit things. The L-rd was extraordinarily specific that I should read the book of Esther on Yom Kippur. (I usually read Jonah as is done in the synagogue each year.) As I read Esther, He caused me to meditate on certain Scriptures, which made me understand that the time of the parusia (appearance of the L-rd) is at hand. The Scriptures that the L-rd emphasized were as follows.

Esther 2:16 – Esther, a type of the church with Jewish roots, was taken to the King in his royal palace... The L-rd reminded me that the Holy Spirit was given at Pentecost as a 'guarantee' or a 'deposit'–– in other words, it was just a small measure of His Spirit. The full measure of His Spirit will be given at the time of the parusia when the Esther-Church will be 'caught up' into His presence to receive the full measure of the Holy Spirit.

Esther 4:14 – "For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place..." G-d is calling us to speak out clearly and succinctly on behalf of the Truth and on behalf of Israel and the Jewish people. I believe that it's time to confront the issues that may divide the church, thus separating the wheat from the tares. Some of the issues to be confronted are: the issue of the church celebrating pagan festivals (idolatry) and also confronting the church’s cavalier attitude toward the ways of the world: divorce, abortion, fornication and homosexuality.

Esther 6:13 – All the Hamans who come against the Jews are coming against Mordecai (a type of Jesus) and will not succeed. In fact, they will fall. There will be turmoil in those nations that oppose Israel's right to exist in the Land given to them by G-d's unconditional covenant––not just the Muslims, but also the Western nations that seek to divide the Land of Israel.

Esther 8:15 – The L-rd will leave heaven (from the presence of the King). He will return to the earth to rule and reign (Acts 3:21) in the not-too-distant future.

Esther 9:1 – The Jews overpowered those who hated them.
The enemies of Israel will see the hand of G-d strengthening the Jewish people and performing miracles in their midst and on their behalf.

Immediately after I finished reading and closed my Bible, my cell phone rang three consecutive times.

•    The first call was from the Buyer of our home, saying that we had a deal and he was ready to sign a contract. The L-rd spoke to me that this date (Yom Kippur 2005) marked a time of new beginnings, not just for my husband and I, but also for the church as a whole.

•    The next call was from our pastor to tell me that his sister-in-law who had cancer died. She was all mixed up in the New Age, but she also added Jesus in there somehow. G-d spoke to me that her death on Yom Kippur was symbolic of the fact that He is no longer going to tolerate mixture.

•    The last call was from my son telling me that he and his wife were going to perform a prophetic act at the Holocaust Memorial in the heart of the city of Charleston. The L-rd told them that his wife should dress in her wedding gown and he should wear a tallit and blow the shofar at that site. I decided to go there immediately. I watched as my son blew the shofar across the park from the Holocaust Memorial while his wife, in her wedding gown, lifted her arms in praise. Onlookers in the park became very quiet. After they were finished, the people in the park (representing the world) resumed what they were doing, seemingly unaffected. To me, though, I felt that something had changed–– that we are entering very sober times in the L-rd because of the place chosen to perform this prophetic act.

When I got back to the prayer group, I related to those present what the L-rd showed me through the telephone calls that culminated in the prophetic act at the Holocaust Memorial:

•    This Yom Kippur marks a new beginning.

•    G-d will not ignore the idolatrous mixture in the church any longer.

•    G-d is calling His bride (represented by my daughter-in-law), the true church with Jewish roots to speak out and stand for Truth.

•    He is issuing a warning (the shofar blasts) about the change in the spiritual atmosphere from this day forward.
